Jon Bon Jovi, nome artístico de John Francis Bongiovi, nascido a 2 de março de 1962 em Perth Amboy, é um cantor e músico dos Estados Unidos da América. Jon nasceu em Perth Amboy, mas aos seus 4 anos de idade, juntamente com a família Bongiovi, o pai John Bongiovi, a mãe Carol Bongiovi e os irmãos mais novos, Matt e Anthony, mudou-se para a cidade Sayreville, (New Jersey) que hoje é conhecida por ele ter passado a sua infância e adolescência.

Filho da coelhinha da Playboy Carol Sharkey, Jon desde criança que sonhava ser um astro de rock. Ele esteve nas bandas "Atlantic City Expressway", "Raze" e "The Wild Ones", com o colega David Bryan, antes de criar a sua ainda actual banda Bon Jovi, no ano de 1984 sendo o próprio o líder da banda. Jon também trabalhou no Power Station Studios, um estúdio musical o qual seu chefe era Tony Bongiovi, o seu primo, que tem no seu currículo a produção de "Pet Sematary" o maior hit da banda Ramones.

No começo da década de 1990, quando a banda estava saturada de trabalho e as brigas entre os membros se tornaram constantes a banda resolveu "dar um tempo". Jon, lançou então um álbum solo, Blaze of Glory, trilha sonora do filme "Young Guns 2" (Jovens Demais Para Morrer 2) que incluiu os hits "Blaze Of Glory" e "Miracle".

Em 1997, Jon decide dar mais “um tempo” á banda para que os integrantes pudessem dedicar-se mais aos seus projectos pessoais. Jon lança então o seu segundo álbum solo, Destination Anywhere, acompanhado de um curta-metragem que teve a colaboração de Mark Pellington como director e roteirista.
Depois disso Jon decidiu então juntar-se de novo com a banda, que teve os maiores sucessos até aos dias de hoje.

Jon Bon Jovi, artistic name of John Francis Bongiovi, born on March 2, 1962 in Perth Amboy, is a singer and musician in the United States of America. Jon was born in Perth Amboy, but their 4 years of age, together with the Bongiovi family, father John Bongiovi, a Carol Bongiovi mother and younger brothers, Matt and Anthony, moved to the city Sayreville (New Jersey ) which is now known that he spent his childhood and adolescence.

Son of the Playboy Bunny Carol Sharkey, Jon who dreamed since childhood of being a rock star. He was in the bands "Atlantic City Expressway", "Raze" and "The Wild Ones", with Mr David Bryan, before creating his still current banda Bon Jovi, in the year 1984 being the actual leader of the banda. Jon also worked at Power Station Studios, a music studio which his boss was Tony Bongiovi, his cousin, who has in his resume the production of "Pet Sematary" the biggest hit of the band Ramones.

At the beginning of the 1990s, when the band was saturated work and fights between members in the band became resolved "take time". Jon, then launched a solo album, Blaze of Glory, soundtrack of the movie "Young Guns 2" (Young To Die Demais 2) which included the hits "Blaze Of Glory" and "Miracle."

In 1997, Jon decided to give more "one time" so that the band members could devote themselves more to their personal ambitions. Jon then launches his second solo album, Destination Anywhere, with a short film which was the collaboration of Mark Pellington as director and screenwriter.
After that Jon decided to join up again with the band, which had the greatest success to date.
